Strata Corporation:

The legal entity which owns and administers the common property.

Special Resolution:

Passed after 14 days written notice of a general meeting and specific notice of the resolution have been given to all unit holders. Voting by a majority of 2/3 of all unit holders, i.e. not only those who attend the meeting.

Unanimous resolution:

A special resolution passed without a dissenting vote at a meeting.

Ordinary Resolution:

A resolution passed by a simple majority of over 50% of voters represented.

Unit Entitlement:

Relates to value of unit as a proportion of total value of all units. Based on certificate from a licensed valuer when the Strata Plan is created.

Unit Subsidiaries:

An area marked on the strata plan as being for the exclusive use of a particular unit.
